Amy Wragg is the creator and producer of Get On The Soapbox.

SoapBox began as an Open Mic in Ipswich in 2006 and ten years later, they are still finding and developing new talent. They hold a monthly spoken word night at The Spread Eagle in Ipswich, on the 4th Thursday of the month, and features four featured artists, and loads of open mic spots for any kind of wordy performance.

Their biggest project every year is the SoapBox Festival Stage, where they produce, programme and manage every aspect of the project. In 2019, they will be returning for their eighth year at this event and every year they have grown in size, due to popular demand. The SoapBox Stage takes place at FolkEast in the grounds of Glemham Hall, Suffolk, in August.
